JOB DESCRIPTIONAssembler / Installer Job Title: Assembler / InstallerDepartment: ProductionReports To: Plant ManagerFLSA Status: Non-exemptPrepared By: Human ResourcesHours: Full Time or Part Time SummaryPerform a wide range of duties and tasks, including preparing and installing parts for fittings, operating hand and power tools to perform more difficult finishing work on products, and assisting with or set up and operate plant equipment. Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesOperate power tools to prepare product for accessoriesCut, drill and grind parts to specificationsFrom a variety of blueprints, measure and mark tanksFabricate and assemble productsCorrect quality defectsMold or build complex componentsMix chemicals to specificationsRoll out and press layers of saturated mat reinforcementSet up, operate, and maintain equipment with minimal oversightRecord production work recordsCheck completed projects for conformance to specifications and for qualityOversee the projects of junior workers, checking for conformance to specifications and for qualityRecord and report defectsMaintain clean products and work areaPractice safe work habits and maintain safe work environmentTransfer products, objects, or parts to specified work areasShare industry and company information in the development of new workersPull parts and prep moldsAssist others as neededPerform other duties as requested by supervisor Compensation details: 20 Hourly Wage
