Apache Flink Developer

We are seeking a skilled Apache Flink Developer with strong experience in building and maintaining real-time data processing applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Apache Flink, along with proficiency in Python and Java, to develop scalable, high-performance streaming solutions. This role requires working closely with engineering teams to design, implement, and optimize data processing pipelines that support business-critical applications.Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain real-time stream processing applications using Apache Flink. Build scalable and fault-tolerant data pipelines for processing large volumes of streaming data. Develop and enhance applications using Python and Java. Optimize Flink jobs for performance, scalability, and reliability. Integrate Flink applications with various messaging systems, databases, and data platforms. Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality solutions. Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code while following development best practices. Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities. Required Qualifications Strong hands-on experience with Apache Flink (required). Proficiency in Python for developing data processing applications. Experience with Java application development. Good understanding of stream processing concepts and event-driven architectures. Experience working with distributed systems and large-scale data processing. Knowledge of software development best practices, including version control and CI/CD. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Preferred Qualifications Experience with messaging platforms such as Apache Kafka. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. Knowledge of SQL and relational or NoSQL databases. Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
