Overnight RN Supervisor

New Haven Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation - New Haven Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation, part of Essential Care, is located in a beautiful North End of New Haven minutes from I91 and I95, on the North Haven and North Branford town line.We are looking for a dynamic RN supervisor to work with our newly hired DNS, ADNS, and experienced nursing team. This is a Monday thru Friday position (Occasional weekend on-call) The right candidate will lead their shift to ensure top quality resident care and customer service. The right candidate must be a great communicator and communicate with staff and management alike.Position:Full Time (40 hours per week) RN Supervisor11pm-7am Monday - FridayDuties of RN Supervisor:Oversee unitAssist with treatment and medication administrationAssist with AdmissionsAttend and participate in weekly meetingsConduct daily audits of all new admission chartsServe as liaison between family, patient, doctor and other departmentsInvestigate all incident reports and follow-upParticipate in managing staff and assignments to ensure quality of careParticipate and report on patient conditions in weekly risk meetingsParticipate in annual evaluations of staffQualifications:Must have current CT RN licenseMust have supervisory experienceMust have excellent leadership and communication skills
