As-Needed / Part-Time Traffic Controller

Location: Various job sites Schedule: As-Needed / Part-Time (schedule varies based on job demand) Pay: $18–$22 per hour About the Role We are seeking reliable, safety-focused individuals to join our team as Traffic Controllers. This role is ideal for someone looking for flexible hours and the opportunity to work outdoors while supporting construction and maintenance crews. You will help keep job sites safe by directing vehicles, pedestrians, and equipment around work zones. Responsibilities Direct and control the flow of traffic around construction or maintenance sites Set up and take down traffic control signs, cones, and barricades Communicate clearly with team members and drivers to ensure safety Follow all safety standards, rules, and guidelines Remain alert and attentive during your shift Report any hazards or incidents immediately Requirements Must be dependable and punctual Ability to stand for long periods and work outdoors in all weather conditions Strong communication skills Willingness to work as needed based on job demand Valid driver’s license required Prior traffic control experience is a plus, but we will train the right candidate @WORK is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE) A Maine Family-Owned DBE Company Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour Benefits: Dental insurance Flexible schedule Health insurance On-the-job training Referral program Retirement plan Vision insurance Application Question(s): Have you worked for @Work in the past?
