We are seeking an Obstetrics/Gynecology Physician for a 20-day assignment in Colorado, starting May 4, 2026. This role involves seeing a diverse patient population for OB/GYN needs, including deliveries, urgent care, and surgical procedures as required, working various days for the hospital, and participating in four call shifts per month. Responsibilities and Duties Manage low and high-risk pregnancies, including FHR interpretation (NST/CST/FSE) Perform routine vaginal deliveries, low forceps deliveries, and decision-making for C-sections Handle complicated deliveries such as C-sections, breech presentations, multiple births, and abruptions Execute repair of 3rd and 4th degree lacerations Conduct surgical gynecology procedures, including diagnostic and minor open/laparoscopic cases (tubal ligation, LOAs, chromal tubation) Perform major open operative/diagnostic surgical gynecology, including ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, and extensive LOAs Provide nursery services, with the ability to transfer to a higher level NICU if necessary Manage a caseload composed of approximately 70% low-risk pregnancy and 30% high-risk pregnancy cases Participate in 21% C-section cases Collaborate with a group of OB/GYNs and Mid-levels Utilize the Epic documentation system for all patient records Additional Information Required Board Certifications: Obstetrics and Gynecology EMR: Epic Shift hours: Various days for hospital and 4 call shifts per month whenever possible Level II nursery services available Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
