Grant Accountant
A company is looking for a Grant Accountant who will be responsible for maintaining financial and accounting support services related to grants.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and submit grant invoices and financial reports to funders in a timely manner
Interpret grant agreements to ensure compliance with funding guidelines and manage grant-related accounting issues
Compile year-end reports and support annual audits while coordinating with finance colleagues on grant expenditures
Required Qualifications
Thorough knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Experience in grant accounting within the nonprofit sector or government agencies
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas and financial modeling
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in grant accounting or financial management
