Remote Employment Litigation Attorney

Direct Counsel is seeking an experienced attorney with a minimum of 8 years of employment litigation experience to join an excellent law firm. This full-time, remote position focuses exclusively on handling Employment Practices Liability Insurance (EPLI) cases. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional written and oral communication skills and a proven track record in employment litigation. Key Responsibilities: Manage and litigate a caseload of EPLI cases from inception through resolution. Draft and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs. Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda. Represent clients in court, mediations, and arbitrations. Provide strategic legal advice to clients on employment-related matters. Collaborate with other attorneys and support staff to ensure high-quality legal representation. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment laws and regulations. Required Qualifications: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Minimum of 8 years of employment litigation experience. Licensed to practice law in the state of residence. Strong written and oral communication skills. Proven ability to manage a heavy caseload and meet deadlines. High ethical standards and professional integrity. Preferred Qualifications: Experience handling EPLI cases. Familiarity with state and federal employment laws in multiple jurisdictions. Strong negotiation and mediation skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
