Tool Room CNC Operator/Machinist Apprentice

Job Description Attention CNC Operators and Machinist Entry level CNC Milling Operator 6 months to 1 year machining experience preferred, but a strong mechanical aptitude and eagerness to learn is essential. Duties and Responsibilities: Operates assigned work center involving precision tolerances. Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and work from verbal instructions. Ability to use applicable inspection / measurement equipment: micrometers, calipers etc. as required. Responsible for verification and documentation of part dimensions and tolerances as required for quality. Required to visually inspect parts for surface details and machining finishes with a close attention to detail. Knowledge of general shop math. The ability to work effectively in a team environment. Responsible for keeping equipment and work area clean and orderly. Provide general upkeep and preventative maintenance on assign work center.
