We are looking for mechanical engineering students or recent grads to join our team for an engineering co-op/internship.Pensa is known for its ability to create beautiful functionality. If you have world-class talent, a passion for product design and invention, and a desire to work on a wide range of products in a fun, creative and collaborative design studio, we’d like to meet you.As An Engineering Intern Or Co-op, You WillLearn about real-world applications of engineering practices and concepts through hands-on participation in both internal and client-based projects, and through the mentorship of our senior staffCollaborate in brainstorming and ideation sessionsCreate 3D CAD of parts and assemblies (Fusion 360 & Solidworks)Build prototypes and mockups of your concepts (rapid prototyping and/or traditional fabrication)Plan, execute, and report engineering testsCollaborate on design reviews and decision-making, and engage in highly technical engineering discussionsHave ownership of your projectsTo be an engineering intern or co-op, we require that you:Are you a student pursuing an engineering degree, or are you a recent gradHave excellent verbal and written communication skillsHave a hands-on approach and are comfortable prototyping and working in a workshopHave a basic understanding of materials, mechanisms, and manufacturing processesDemonstrate proficiency with 3D CAD software (Solidworks & Fusion 360 preferred)Thrive while working under minimum supervision in a fast-paced environmentQuickly adapt and react to changes of direction in your projectsAre well organized, self-motivated, and have great attention to detailAre able to articulate and demonstrate your thought process and rationales behind your decisionsAre excited to work and collaborate in a multidisciplinary teamAre curious to learn new skillsAre excited to deliver the next great product experience to the worldOur internships are meant to be learning experiences for you, teaching you to deliver high-quality work collaboratively.
