In this role, you will contribute to the design, development, and validation of complex mechanical systems for autonomous aerial platforms.You will work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, partnering with cross-functional teams to bring innovative products from concept through production while ensuring performance, reliability, and manufacturability.What You'll DoDesign and develop mechanical components and assemblies for autonomous aerial systemsCreate and maintain detailed 3D CAD models and 2D engineering drawingsPerform engineering analyses including stress, thermal, and vibration simulationsDevelop specifications and documentation to support manufacturing and assemblySupport prototyping, fabrication, integration, and testing activitiesIdentify and resolve design and manufacturing issues through root cause analysisManage designs through the full engineering lifecycle, including change management processesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product improvements and design reviewsSupport system integration efforts and adaptation of products for evolving applicationsRequired QualificationsBachelor’s (or higher) degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field5+ years of experience in mechanical design and analysis, preferably in aerospace, robotics, or complex systemsProficiency with CAD and PDM tools (e.g., SolidWorks or similar) and simulation softwareStrong understanding of materials and manufacturing processesHands-on experience with prototyping and fabrication techniquesFamiliarity with relevant industry standards and quality systems is a plusStrong communication and teamwork skills in a cross-functional environmentEligibility to work on projects requiring compliance with applicable regulationsEligible to US Citizen or Green Card Holder only
