Onboarding Coordinator - Dollywood Parks & Resorts - Full Time Year Round

The ideal Onboarding Coordinator will be equal parts curious learner, innovator, administrator, detail driver, mentor, and motivator. The Onboarding Coordinator provides support by assisting Talent Acquisition Specialists, hiring managers, and new/returning Hosts with the onboarding process for Dollywood Parks and Resorts. All of this will be done in a manner consistent with the mission, values and operating philosophies and standards of the Dollywood Company. Additionally, the ideal candidate will be able to display and live out Lead with Love qualities, strongly rooted in the Dollywood Company culture, by being patient, kind, trusting, unselfish, truthful, forgiving, dedicated and accountable. Summary of Essential Functions and ResponsibilitiesUse UKG Recruiting and Onboarding software systems to track new hires, update hiring status, launch onboarding, set up and maintain employees' personnel historyManage onboarding event software for efficiency, compliance and employee experienceAudit personnel records for all new hires and rehiresMaintain processing schedules for all new hires and rehiresAct as the liaison between Safety and Human Resources to ensure smooth onboarding experienceRescinds job offers for hosts who have unsatisfactory drug screen and/ or background check resultsOversee Safety Holds by ensuring required documents are submitted in a timely manner and follow up with leadership after approved by SafetyObtain proper identification for federal, state and company policy complianceResponsible for onboarding requirements for all employees including auditing I-9 forms and documents, entering information accurately into UKG Onboarding program and other tasks as assignedKeep extensive onboarding records and update teams dailyCheck the results of credit, criminal background checks, drug tests and motor vehicle reports. Responsible for communicating results to all HostsPlan and facilitate annual mass rehire processing eventsEnsure compliance with federal, state and company rules and regulations regarding personnel filesEnsure compliance with minor labor laws during onboarding process to include scheduling practices and auditing of documentationMaintain excellent relationships with Dollywood Parks and Resort teams and departmentsBe knowledgeable of and assist with employment functions of new hosts to include, but not limited to, hiring events, training, wardrobe and host ID'sAlways maintain confidentiality to ensure that there is no release of information pertaining to Dollywood records, personnel records, safety information, or any other sensitive materials without approval Management reserves the right to change and/or add to these duties at any time Education and Experience RequiredMinimum 18 years of ageHigh School Degree or equivalent required; College degree preferredRecruiting and Onboarding experience preferredProficient knowledge of Microsoft Office softwareIntermediate Excel Skills highly preferredKnowledge of office equipment and computersExceptional communication skills - written and verbalData entry and data management experience preferredFlexibility to meet varying customer needs and to juggle multiple priorities dailyStrong organizational skills and attention to detail are essentialKnowledge of employment lawAbility to safely operate company vehicles according to company policy.
