Benefits Representative

Description Respond to inbound calls and emails regarding HR, benefits, payroll, and policy inquiries. Provide accurate and timely information on health insurance, retirement plans, COBRA, FMLA, and other benefit programs. Troubleshoot and resolve employee issues or escalate complex cases to Tier II or III support. Maintain and update employee records in HRIS systems (e.g., SAP, Workday). Educate employees on self-service tools and HR processes. Document all interactions in case management systems. Ensure compliance with company policies and federal/state regulations. Additional Skills & Qualifications Associate degree or equivalent experience in HR, Business, or related field. 1-2 years of experience in an FMLA or Leave of Absence (LOA) experience preferred. Strong knowledge of employee benefits and HR policies. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in HRIS and case management tools. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus for some locations. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tempe, AZ. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
