Immediate need for a talented Mainframe Developer . This is a 06+ Months Contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Plano, TX and Columbus, OH (Onsite) . Key Requirements and Technology Experience: Must have skills: -("Mainframe", "JCL", "IMS", "CICS") Skills – COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2/IMS, AI Must drive development and maintenance using COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2/IMS Must work with DB2 / IMS databases for data access and performance tuning Must have experience developing ZOS API, batches. Familiarity with Mainframe Utilities Analyze legacy code and implement enhancements or fixes Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and QA teams Ability to interpret functional requirements and convert them into technical solutions. Exposure to modernization projects (e.g., re-engineering or re-platforming mainframe workloads). Understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps for mainframe (e.g, Git, Jenkins for z/OS). Familiarity with cloud environments like AWS (if the role involves modernization).
