We are currently hiring Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for school-based opportunities in the Houston area.This role is ideal for clinicians who are passionate about helping students improve communication skills and fully access their educational environment.What You'll DoAs an SLP in a school setting, you will provide assessment, intervention, and support for students with a variety of communication needs.Key responsibilities include:Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessmentsDevelop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and therapy plansProvide direct therapy services to students (individual and group)Address a range of communication needs (articulation, language, fluency, voice, etc.)Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as neededCollaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teamsParticipate in ARD/IEP meetings and provide clinical recommendationsMaintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentationStay current with best practices and special education regulationsWhat You'll NeedMaster's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related fieldActive Texas SLP licenseASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferredClinical Fellows (CFs) are welcome to apply (supervision available)Experience working with pediatric or school-based populations is a plusStrong understanding of IEP processes and special education servicesStrong communication and organizational skillsAbility to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary teamBilingual (English/Spanish) is a plusWork Environment & FlexibilitySchool-based positions in the Houston areaCaseloads typically range from Pre-K through High SchoolFlexible opportunities available:Full-time placementsPart-time schedulesOn-site and hybrid opportunitiesPlacement based on your availability and district needsWhy TX-STAR?Competitive compensation based on experienceFlexible scheduling optionsBi-weekly paySupportive, people-first cultureOngoing support from experienced program staffReferral bonus opportunitiesProfessional growth and development opportunitiesAccess to a wide network of school partnerships across TexasAbout TX-STAR Speech Language ServicesTX-STAR has been supporting school districts across Texas since 2010, partnering with over 40 districts as well as agencies and regional cooperatives.
