Job Title: Elementary and Middle School Summer School ParaprofessionalsReports to: Summer School Administrator on siteSalary: Position hourly rate will be paid at the current hourly rate of successful candidate(s) rate of payDates:Professional Development and Prep - June 22, 23, 24, 25Summer School Instruction - June 29 - July 30, 2026 (7:45 AM - 12:45 PM- Monday through Thursday)Additional weekly professional Development - up to 2 hours one day a week following student dismissalData completion and room takedown - up to 4 hours5.0 hours per day from 7:45 AM - 12:45 PMTotal available hours paid - 138 hoursMUST BE AVAILABLE ALL 6 WEEKS TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THESE POSITIONS.Position Summary:Summer school paraprofessional will work under the direction of summer school teachers possibly in small group work; may be responsible for assisting in assessments and keeping data on student progress; and may assist in supervision of arrival and dismissal of students.Minimum QualificationsCurrent SEIU 10 memberExperience with Lexia ProgramsPrevious experience working with students of diversity, cultural differences, and differentiated learning needs preferredAbility to stoop, crouch, crawl, bend, kneel, and stand for long periods of timeValid 1st Aid/CPR cardExperience and/or training with cultural, ethnic, and language diversity preferredMust have previously completed all district required trainingSelection Process:A district representative will notify selected applicant(s) of placement.
