Work with families to support their child in their educational success.COMPENSATION: DOETA I $21.48 hr. DOETA II $23.22 hr. DOEThe Signing Bonus Is Paid Out In Two Installments1st installment of the bonus is paid on your FIRST paycheck.2nd installment of the bonus is paid after successful completion of your 90 day probationary period.EligibilitySigning bonuses are for select positions only and will be indicated on the job posting.Current Employee department transfers are not eligible for signing bonus.Any former Employee who has resigned or been dismissed within the past 12 months is not eligible for a signing bonus.Minmum Required EducationHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent.CDA or First stackable for Teacher Assistant II.Minimum Related ExperienceSix (6) months of experience working with children (birth to five) and families in childcare, education, classroom or related field.Required Licenses/Certifications/PrerequisitesNegative TB skin test or chest x-ray. Pediatric CPR/First Aid Certificate. Blood Borne Pathogens Certification. Food Handler’s card. Must abide by departments MMR (Measles, Mumps and Rubella) vaccination policy.30 hours of STARS training. *Will allow thirty (30) days to obtainMust pass an Agility exam to determine if physically capable to perform the job functions.Employment is contingent on successful completion of a pre-employment and MERIT background check.TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: This is a regular Full-Time position
