Senior Vice President, Institutional Consulting GroupCallan is seeking a new team member to lead the Institutional Consulting Group (ICG) in one of the following Callan office locations: San Francisco headquarters, Atlanta, Chicago, Denver, Portland, or Summit, NJ. As a Senior Vice President at Callan, a leading independent investment consulting firm, you will have an opportunity to support some of the largest, most sophisticated investment management organizations in the world. ICG provides education and research through the Callan Institute, as well as analytical tools to investment manager clients. As manager of Callan's ICG, you will oversee two professionals, and the group is collectively responsible for servicing approximately 150 investment manager clients.Primary DutiesProspective Clients/New Business GenerationRepresent Callan at industry events (e.g., AIMSE)Manage annual Callan Institute membership renewals with existing clientsNew Institute client membership development for membership growthPromote Callan College, Master Class, and Callan On Demand Education (CODE) salesClient ResponsibilitiesSupport Institute clients and client use of Callan tools, research, and education. Develop proficiency in proprietary tools including PEP and CallanDNA to support and assist client useProactive client outreachAttend Institute in-person events and interact with investment manager clients (Callan hosted conferences, workshops, etc.)Attend virtual Institute educational events and focus groupsRespond to client informational requestsTravel as needed to provide in-person industry trends and updates to clientsTeam Management/OtherOversee the day-to-day functions of the ICG. Manage two team members including one senior consultant and one associate consultantTrack metrics on Institute membership, as well as Callan College for Managers and Master Class attendanceTrack and maintain metrics on research requestsFoster our collaborative and client-focused cultureCoordinate across the ICG team, Callan's Institute team, and broader Callan organizationHost and participate in the "Callan College for Managers" and master classes. Provide support and education to attendees before and during sessions.
