Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Neuro ICU for a travel nursing job in Newburgh, Indiana.Job Description & RequirementsSpecialty: Neuro ICUDiscipline: RNDuration: 13 weeks36 hours per weekShift: 12 hours, nightsEmployment Type: TravelMinimum Experience REQUIRED: Two years of strong Neuro exp, 1 travel assignment, trauma level II experience. Charting Experience: Recent EPIC experience required (will be required to do a checkoff class) Patient Population: Neuro and Neuro-Surgical patients CVAs, elective back/neck surgeries, post-op cranis, cerebral angiogram. General medical and psych. Skillset: NIHSS/dysphagia screen/strong Neuro assessements, basic tele interpretation, strict Is & Os/straight cath/Foleys, intitate/titrate heparin gtts., blood/blood product administration/venipuncture/blood cultures, NG tubes, indwelling drain managemen, stable gtts. (i.e. Protonix, Lasic, etc.).
