Overview
As a Digital Software Engineer Intmd Analyst at Citi, you will design, develop and deploy microservices and cloud-native components that power core digital platforms. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to architecture discussions, shaping APIs and service design. You will ensure observability, security, and reliability while delivering high-quality code and maintaining compliance. Key requirements2-5 years in an Apps Development role with microservices expertise using Java/PythonStrong proficiency in Java (Spring Boot) or PythonExperience with Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShiftSolid understanding of RESTful API design, message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ), and event-driven architectureExperience with relational and/or NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra)Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Tekton, GitLab CI) and Git-based version controlStrong analytical and quantitative skills; data-driven and results-orientedExperience in running high traffic, distributed, cloud-based servicesExcellent written and oral communication skillsBachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experiencestrong communicationanalytical mindsetteam collaborationJava (Spring Boot)PythonDocker
