This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, using tools and equipment, and being part of a team that builds lasting infrastructure.Candidates with farming or agricultural experience are strongly encouraged to apply, as this background often aligns well with the physical, mechanical, and teamwork aspects of the role.Key Duties & ResponsibilitiesAssist with concrete operations including forming, pouring, finishing, and cleanupPerform general labor tasks such as shoveling, lifting, carrying materials, and site cleanupOperate hand tools and small equipment as directedFollow all safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe jobsiteWork collaboratively with foremen, operators, and crew membersPerform other duties as assigned to support project needsQualificationsPrior experience in construction, concrete, farming, ranching, or agricultural work preferredComfortable performing physically demanding work in outdoor environments and varying weather conditionsAbility to lift, carry, bend, kneel, climb, and stand for extended periodsWillingness to work day or night shifts, including Saturdays if requiredStrong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learnAbility to follow directions and work as part of a teamValid driver’s license preferredWorking ConditionsConstruction site environmentExposure to noise, dust, uneven terrain, and weather conditionsThis position is in Clyde, NCAmes Construction is an equal opportunity employer.
