Job Overview It's almost Patio Season at Pullmans! We are seeking energetic and dedicated Servers to join our vibrant food and beverage team. As a key ambassador of our restaurant, you will deliver exceptional guest experiences by providing attentive service, being knowledgeable on Pullmans' offerings, and creating a welcoming atmosphere. Your enthusiasm and professionalism will ensure guests enjoy memorable dining moments. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables with genuine hospitality Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems Provide detailed menu descriptions, recommend wine pairings, and upsell items to enhance the guest experience Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns, and ensuring overall satisfaction throughout the dining experience Assist with food handling, preparation support, bussing tables, and maintaining a clean dining area Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering duties and basic math calculations for bills and tips Support team members during busy hours by managing multiple tables efficiently and demonstrating excellent time management skills Qualifications Previous restaurant experience or food service background is preferred, but not required Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport quickly and handle guest concerns professionally Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Culinary experience or kitchen familiarity is advantageous but not required Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods Ability to upsell menu items confidently to increase sales opportunities Basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and tip calculations Experience in serving, bussing tables, or host/hostess roles is beneficial Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude Join us to be part of an energetic team committed to delivering outstanding guest experiences through exceptional service.
