Between our one of a kind culture, incredible benefits, and work/life balance; we believe you will feel the Affinity Plus difference.Position Overview:A Mortgage Servicing Specialist supports the servicing of mortgage loans.This role is responsible for maintaining first mortgages when it comes to escrow accounts, mortgage payments, mortgage satisfactions/subordinations, PMI, loan modifications, and answering member inquires.Duties and Responsibilities:Answer and resolve member questions and concerns regarding the servicing of mortgage loans in terms of billing statements, escrow questions (tax, insurance, escrow analysis), misapplied payments, and other servicing functionsProcess member requests for payment histories, amortization schedules, payoffs, and with documentation requests related to mortgage loansProcess incoming subordination requests in accordance with credit union policiesProcess Security Instrument Release documents (e.g. Mortgage Satisfaction, Payoff Statements) in compliance with state specific guidelinesReview finalized loans for accuracy with payment due dates and amounts, escrow account set up, PMI, Flood and Homeowners insuranceAnalyze loan documentation for partial releases, subordinations, and easementsProvide reporting and assistance on daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly investor reporting and remittingAssist with investor edits for monthly MPI reconciliationReporting daily PMI removal to investors and PMI companiesOversee automatic transfer of daily report bundles from FICS to EpysisAssist Portfolio Analyst with various tasks surrounding the sale of first mortgages to the secondary market and investorsOther duties as assignedQualifications and Skills:2+ years of general banking experience.Real Estate Experience preferredStrong analytical and decision-making skills required with a high degree of accuracyAptitude to work independently as well as part of a team and ability to collaborate with othersStrong verbal and written communication skillsTime Management skills and the ability to prioritize workload based on department and member needsFlexibility to adapt and succeed in a dynamic environmentAbility and drive to provide exceptional service to members and employeesWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook and Excel) and ability to learn new softwareWorkplace Environment:Working in a stationary position for 90% of the work dayUtilizing the telephone 30% of the dayMoving, lifting and/or carrying 20 pounds with or without accommodationsBending, twisting, kneeling, stooping or crouching when appropriate, on occasionRepetitive movements, including but not limited to typing, mousing, phones, etc.Requires onsite presence based on coordination of work with other employees and/or departments.May require travel to attend on-site meetings/events for collaboration, connection, project work, All-Employee Day, etc.Required Work Schedule:Standard Monday through Friday business hours, with occasional Saturday support based on member need. Consistent and reliable attendance is a required essential function of this role to meet the needs of the department/team and organization.Location:This position is hybrid, with onsite expectations inRoseville, MNweekly.Compensation:This position has a starting pay range of $20.10 - $25.12 per hour.In alignment with our commitment to pay transparency, we are providing a good-faith estimate of the pay range for this position.
