Job Overview As a Software Developer Specialist, you will play a crucial role in extending existing proof-of-concept solutions into fully integrated applications that support transportation engineering workflows. Your work will involve engineering-related software services, including model ingestion, automated quantity extraction, plan conformance checks, and CI/CD automation. Requirements8 years of experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI for deploying and managing ML workloads.8 years of DevOps experience with Ansible, CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes.8 years of experience with SQL and NoSQL/vector databases.Proficiency in Bash and PowerShell scripting for automation.3-5 years of production experience in Python.Experience with NLP/LLMs, including transformers, RAG systems, and prompt engineering.Experience with time series forecasting models and real-time monitoring systems.Experience with recommender systems and content recommendations.Production experience with MLOps tools like MLflow, Weights & Biases, or Kubeflow.Experience with distributed training and efficient data parallelism.Production experience with computer vision using PyTorch/TensorFlow.Experience in feature stores or advanced feature engineering.Experience in model optimization techniques such as quantization and pruning.Built and deployed 2-3 ML models serving real users. PreferencesExperience with Geospatial Information Systems (GIS) and spatial data analysis.Prior experience in the transportation, logistics, or smart city sectors.Background in computer vision applied to infrastructure or vehicular data.Familiarity with public sector data compliance and security standards.Experience with the Unreal gaming engine and digital twinning.Experience with Google Maps Cesium API and Polygonflow Dash.
