This is what has driven our teams since 1833.Since that time, we have developed to become a critical partner in the global aviation industry, delivering time-critical logistics services at over 300 locations in 65 countries, across 6 continents.But at the heart of our business is our people.Role PurposeAs a member of the Menzies Aviation Quality Control Technician team, you will be responsible for sampling and testing products for quality control and perform inspections and basic maintenance on facilities.Location: Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA)Hourly Rate: $23.00 an hourTraining Schedule: 30 days training Monday through Friday 7am to 3: 30 pmWork Schedule: from 1500 - 2330 with Tuesday and Wednesday OffWhat You Will Be DoingHydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical reports and preventative maintenance of equipment at fuel storage facilities/systemsPerforms routine and periodic inspections in compliance with company, customer, government, and industry standardsMonitors storage tanks and related equipment to ensure that they are in good working order to prevent spills, releases, overfills and product contaminationConducts all work in a safe fashion by adhering to all company, customer, industry, local, state, and federal safe work policies/proceduresMakes required log entries of fuel transactions, quality control, and maintenanceComply with the station’s attendance/tardiness standardsOther duties as assignedSafety, Security, Wellbeing And ComplianceYou will have a responsibility and duty whilst at work to take reasonable care of the health, safety and wellbeing of yourself and others in accordance with provided information, training, and workplace health and safety rules or procedures.
