Corporate Office Manager

Since 1991 Corporate Office Management position available to support growth of an established service driven multi-branch/ multi-state electrical contracting & service operation; position in Rockville, MD; full time. Employee Powered Since 1991 ~ Power Systems Electric Corporation (PSEC) is a diverse and multi office contracting company offering a wide range of essential electrical infrastructure, security and common area lighting, controls, life safety and electrical emergency services throughout MD, DC, VA, and Florida. As a Corporate Office Manager, your primary role will be hands on management of our robust cloud-based accounting program & internal AP/AR processes; Software as a Service (SaaS), service office management process, procedures, and daily staff management. The position requires a professional, goal-oriented approach while collaborating with our leadership team, vendors, office staff and service team. Relevant experience and a well-developed skill set in administrative functions, office & vendor management as well as assisting in IT management, in a modern office environment is necessary for success. Essential Responsibilities & Requirements: BS in Accounting or Extensive Business Management experience equivalent. Strong hands-on management, experience and computer skills ranging from cloud-based accounting, Software as a Service (SaaS), Office365, Excel. Assist in management of IT and software upgrade projects, basic training, and implementation with employees. 8+ years - Accounting experience in full charge bookkeeping including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, general ledger and financial reports, daily deposits. 8+ years - Payroll management and processing - preferably ADP Workforce Now. 8+ years - HR experience in Employee Benefits and 401K. Experience with Sage 50/100 and/or Sage Intacct Accounting Software, preferred. Insurance – familiarity with company business and employee health insurance plans, annual workman's compensation audits. Excel - Requires significant and advanced comfort level with Excel. Assist CFO with monthly reconciliation of accounts, assessing and filing of annual taxes for federal and local state tax returns. Managerial experience managing 5+ staff members in a multi-branch office environment. Maintain accurate, open, and positive communication with employees, departments, customers, and vendors. Professional verbal and written communication – with a high-level focus on precise record keeping, excellent data entry and follow through. Desire to support growth and initiatives. Ability to source and confidently recommend policy, procedure, accountability and/ or software changes. Must have excellent interpersonal skills and customer service skills.
