Associate Software Engineer Apply Online Join the Enterprise Justice team at Tyler Technologies as an Associate Software Engineer! As a full stack engineer, you will work with a wide range of technologies such as .NET, Angular, HTML5, SQL, and Cloud/AWS building scalable solutions that empower our clients and support mission-critical outcomes. Location Plano, Texas Responsibilities Write clean, testable, maintainable code following established standardsDebug software issues using systematic approachesSubmit appropriate pull requests demonstrating code review understandingCreate and maintain unit tests for code reliabilityMaster core technologies through hands-on practiceDocument key learnings for knowledge sharingParticipate in team learning initiativesCollaborate effectively with team members to achieve project goalsParticipate in Agile development processesSupport on-call duties with senior guidance Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related technical field, OR equivalent combination of education and professional experience demonstrating programming competency0-2 years of professional software development experienceDemonstrated programming through internships, personal projects, bootcamp programs, or academic courseworkExperience with modern development practices including version control and testingProficiency in at least one modern language (C#, Java, Python, JavaScript, etc.)Computer Science Fundamentals: Data structures, algorithms, software design principlesVersion Control: Working knowledge of Git and collaborative workflowsDatabase Basics: SQL and basic database conceptsWeb Technologies: HTTP, APIs, front-end/back-end architectureTesting: Understanding of unit testing concepts and automated testing approachesAnalytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detailWritten and verbal communication for technical and non-technical audiencesIndependent and collaborative work in team environmentsGrowth mindset with enthusiasm for continuous learningTime management and task prioritization skillsAdaptability in fast-paced, changing technical environmentsMay be required to undergo fingerprint background checks for CJIS clearance Great Place to Work & Grow Your CareerCome join us as we transform the public sector!
