Trade Consultant
The Trade Consultant provides analytical and economic support for clients on international trade matters, especially antidumping and countervailing duty (AD/CVD) cases before the U.S. Department of Commerce (DOC). This role requires strong skills in data analysis, economic modeling, and trade remedies, working closely with clients to minimize duty exposure and ensure compliance. Responsibilities include preparing antidumping documentation, analyzing large datasets with statistical software, guiding clients through DOC processes, and collaborating with attorneys on complex trade issues across industries.Minimum requirements include three years' experience in international trade analysis with a focus on AD/CVD proceedings, proficiency in SAS and Excel, and a strong understanding of DOC and U.S. Customs and Border Protection procedures. The role also requires direct client experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work with legal teams to resolve complex trade issues. Our Trade Consultant position adheres to the firm’s billable hour model, with a base requirement of 1,400 hours annually. Actual initial salary may be above or below the above-identified range and will be based on the relevant skills, training, experience, and other job-related factors, including the location of where the position is filled and consistent with applicable law.
