Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.Step into a rewarding contract opportunity working as a school-based Occupational Therapist in a vibrant coastal region near Ponte Vedra Beach, FL. This full-time position (35 hours per week, 7 hours per day) spans the entire 2026-2027 school year, running from August 10, 2026, to May 28, 2027. You'll play a key role in supporting students' development across multiple school sites on the north and west sides of Jacksonville.You will work directly with children of various ages in an itinerant capacity, addressing occupational therapy needs within your assigned region. Caseload specifics will be determined closer to the start date, but your impact will be felt throughout the district as you help students access their education through skilled interventions.Qualifications & Requirements:Active and valid Florida Department of Health Occupational Therapist licenseExperience or strong interest in school-based OT settings preferredAbility to adapt to diverse student needs, work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary teamMust have, or be able to obtain, recent fingerprints as per Florida school district requirements (including possible verification/re-printing and JLA badge acquisition)Willing and able to travel between multiple schools within the districtKey Responsibilities:Deliver evidence-based OT services onsite, evaluating and supporting students to maximize their participation at schoolCollaborate with teachers, families, and school teams to develop and implement individualized plansMaintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and regulatory standardsActively participate in IEP meetings as neededInterviews will take place May 14 and 15—interested candidates should confirm their availability promptly to be considered.
