Credit and Collections Specialist

In this role, you will manage customer accounts, evaluate credit risk, support collections efforts, and partner with internal teams to ensure strong accounts receivable performance. What You'll DoEvaluate customer creditworthiness by reviewing financial data, credit history, and reportsProcess credit applications, including new account setupWork directly with customers to resolve credit issues and inquiriesManage a high volume of communication with Sales Consultants, Store Managers, and customersReview accounts to identify delinquent balances and initiate collection effortsPrepare documentation for collection agencies and assist with lien filingsProcess job sheets and lien waiversTrack and report on key metrics (NSF checks, bad debt, etc.) using spreadsheetsCollaborate with Credit and Accounts Receivable teams to improve workflow and resultsPartner with internal teams to resolve short payments and disputes What We're Looking ForStrong commitment to customer serviceExcellent communication and problem-solving skillsDetail-oriented and highly organizedSelf-motivated and able to manage changing prioritiesTeam player who works well across departments QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED requiredCredit/collections or related experience preferredProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Equal Opportunity Employer Gustave A.
