Travel RN - Med/Surg Tele

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring tele competency and a compact or SC RN license.Job Details• Work in a Med/Surg Telemetry unit within an acute care hospital,• Night shifts, three 12-hour shifts per week from 7:00 pm to 7:30 am,• Patient ratios are typically 1:5-6,• Every other weekend work is required,• Floating to like units or sister facilities may be required,• Uses Epic EMR,• Level III trauma care environment,Job Requirements• Active SC RN license or Compact RN license must be in hand prior to start,• Minimum of 2 years' recent Med/Surg or Telemetry experience required,• BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certifications required,• NIH Stroke Scale certification preferred,• Tele competency required,• Previous charge nurse and community hospital experience preferred,Additional Information• Care for adult patients requiring Med/Surg and telemetry monitoring,• Royal blue scrubs are required,• First-time travelers are accepted for this position,• Local candidates within 60 miles may be considered at a local rate,• Previous perm or PRN staff must have a 1-year separation from the system before returning as a traveler,• All requested time off must be specified at time of consideration; requests exceeding 7 days or including holidays will require facility approval,• Mandatory pre-assignment education modules must be completed before starting,
