The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day execution of core financial operations, including banking operations, cash management, reconciliations, and accounts payable. This role involves managing a small team, partnering with finance and treasury, and overseeing the integrity, accuracy, and efficiency of operational accounting processes. The Head of Financial Operations will also be tasked with building scalable processes, controls, and infrastructure to support the business's growth, as well as identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and automate manual processes. Candidates for this role should have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with 10-15 years' experience in accounting operations or operations. A strong background in banking operations, cash management, and reconciliation oversight is essential, and experience in insurance, reinsurance, or financial services is preferred. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing financial operations or accounting teams, be adept at establishing and enhancing financial processes, procedures, and controls, and possess strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
