Litigation Attorney

Responsibilities: - Conduct legal research and analysis using Westlaw, Lexis-Nexis, and other legal databases - Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and briefs - Prepare and negotiate settlements on behalf of clients - Represent clients in court hearings and trials - Collaborate with colleagues on case strategy and preparation - Maintain accurate and organized case files - Stay up-to-date with changes in laws and regulations relevant to the practice area Experience: - Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school - Active license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction - Proven experience in litigation, preferably in a law firm setting - Strong legal research and writing skills - Excellent negotiation and communication abilities - Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously Skills: - Proficiency in using Westlaw and Lexis-Nexis for legal research - Knowledge of legal administrative procedures and practices - Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Ability to negotiate effectively on behalf of clients - Experience with legal drafting, including pleadings, motions, and briefs - Ability to litigate cases in court We offer competitive compensation packages based on experience.
