The organization develops advanced hydraulic systems, filtration technologies, valves, manifolds, and engineered solutions for OEM customers across agriculture, construction, material handling, transportation, and industrial equipment sectors.The company is recognized for its engineering-driven culture, customer-focused approach, and commitment to delivering high-performance hydraulic solutions in demanding mobile applications.Position OverviewThe Hydraulic Applications Engineer will play a highly visible, customer-facing role supporting OEMs and distributors with hydraulic system design, application support, troubleshooting, and technical solution development. This position offers significant autonomy and is ideal for an engineer who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working directly with customers, and can independently manage technical projects from concept through implementation.The engineer will act as a trusted technical advisor, partnering closely with customers, sales teams, and internal engineering groups to deliver responsive, practical, and innovative hydraulic solutions for mobile equipment applications.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as the primary technical resource for customers requiring hydraulic system and application supportWork directly with OEMs and distributors to evaluate system requirements and recommend optimized hydraulic solutionsSupport mobile hydraulic applications including valves, manifolds, filtration systems, power units, pumps, and electro-hydraulic controlsInterpret hydraulic schematics, technical drawings, and system specifications to troubleshoot and improve system performanceConduct field visits, customer meetings, and onsite troubleshooting activities with a high degree of independence and ownershipCollaborate with sales, manufacturing, quality, and product engineering teams to drive successful customer outcomesAssist with product selection, application engineering, and technical presentations during customer development activitiesIdentify opportunities for product improvements, system optimization, and new business development within existing accountsSupport testing, validation, and implementation of hydraulic solutions in mobile and off-highway equipment environmentsMaintain strong customer relationships through responsive communication, technical expertise, and problem-solving capabilitiesQualificationsBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Fluid Power Engineering, or related technical field preferred3–7 years of experience in hydraulic application engineering, fluid power systems, or mobile equipment engineeringStrong understanding of mobile hydraulic systems, filtration technologies, valves, pumps, manifolds, and hydraulic controlsExperience supporting OEM customers in mobile/off-highway industries preferredAbility to read and interpret hydraulic schematics and engineering drawingsStrong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills within hydraulic systemsExcellent communication and customer-facing technical support abilitiesComfortable working independently with minimal supervision in a highly autonomous roleProficiency with Microsoft Office, CAD software, and ERP/CRM systems preferredWillingness to travel periodically to customer and OEM sitesPreferred ExperienceExperience supporting agriculture, construction, forestry, material handling, mining, or heavy mobile equipment industriesKnowledge of proportional hydraulics, contamination control, and electro-hydraulic systemsExposure to field testing, OEM integration, or product validation activities
