This fully onsite role is responsible for optimizing manufacturing processes, improving efficiency, reducing costs, and ensuring high-quality production within an automotive manufacturing environment. This role focuses on analyzing workflows, designing production systems, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to support operational excellence.The ideal candidate has 2+ years of progressive of experience in process optimization, manufacturing engineering, or industrial engineering within a production environment.Job DescriptionAnalyze current manufacturing processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvementDesign and implement optimized production layouts, workstations, and material flow systemsConduct time and motion studies to establish standard work and improve labor productivityLead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other methodologiesCollaborate with cross-functional teams (production, quality, maintenance, supply chain) to drive operational improvementsDevelop and maintain process documentation, work instructions, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)Support new product launches by designing efficient production processes and validating line readinessMonitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as throughput, cycle time, and utilization to drive performance improvementsIdentify and implement cost reduction initiatives related to labor, materials, and equipmentEvaluate equipment, tooling, and automation solutions to enhance productivity and safetyEnsure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and company policiesAll other duties as assigned.
