Job description:Amerex Group is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate will have strong Excel skills, sharp attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This role requires accuracy, initiative, and clear communication across departments to ensure timely and precise financial reporting. The responsibilities of the Accounts Receivable Specialist include but are not limited to the following:Responsibilities:Monitor and reconcile incoming customer payments daily, ensuring all deposits are accurately reflected in the general ledgerGenerate and maintain aging reports and identify past-due accountsSupport internal teams in resolving customer account inquiries, balances, and credits, while responding to inquiries in a professional and timely mannerUpload invoices and statements to customer portals and platforms as neededReview and analyze deductions, chargebacks, and short payments to determine validityPrepare accounts receivable reports and provide financial data to internal teamsInvestigate customer chargebacks by gathering supporting documentation from internal systems, merchants, or customers to aid in dispute resolutionMaintain financial security by following internal accounting controls and processesProvide audit support including generation of backup reports and transaction historiesSupport monthly and year-end closing processes by ensuring that revenue entries are complete, reconciled, and properly documentedQualifications:1 year of experience in Accounts Receivable or related accounting function (including internships)Proficiency in Microsoft ExcelStrong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skillsAbility to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and meet deadlines.Monday-Friday, In-Office$21.63 - $24.04 per hour - Based on ExperienceAmerex Group does not provide visa sponsorship for this role.
