NOC Technical Support SpecialistConsulting Role , onsite in Brooklyn, NYRedStream Technology is recruiting a NOC Technical Support Specialist to work in a 7x24x365 operations center. The responsibilities of this position includes triaging, troubleshooting, and resolution of monitored events and monitoring network performance utilizing provided software tool sets.The position also includes escalation and outage reporting within identified timeframes. Technologies supported include Windows Desktops, Windows Servers, Linux Servers, networking devices (switches, routers and firewalls) and application and operating system software.Qualifications:1+ years of technical support experience in a customer-facing IT service organizationNetwork Monitoring System experience with systems such as Solarwinds, ScienceLogic, or similar platformsMicrosoft Windows 10 Operating System (OS) support experienceRemote or virtual machine support experience is a plusRedHat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 8.x experience is a plusExperience with endpoint administration for security, patch, and backup managementUse of an IT Service Management Tool (ITSM) such as ServiceNow or Remedy for incident, problem, and change managementExceptional written, listening and verbal communication skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment while remaining level-headed and professional at all timesMust be able to work in a rotating shift environment such as four tens either on day or night shiftMust be able to work local and major holidays as part of a rotating shift environment
