Pacific International is partnering with a Fortune 500 global manufacturing leader generating approximately $10B+ in annual revenue, with operations across North America, Europe, and Asia. The organization is a market leader in engineered materials and building solutions, supplying critical products into construction, infrastructure, and industrial end markets. Known for its strong operational footprint and long-standing industry presence, the company is currently investing in modernizing operations and strengthening plant-level leadership across key manufacturing sites. This includes a renewed focus on Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and operational excellence to drive performance and long-term scalability. As part of this effort, the organization is seeking an Senior Operations Manager to play a critical role at one of its flagship U.S. manufacturing facilities. This is a highly visible position responsible for leading a significant portion of plant operations and partnering closely with site leadership to drive productivity, stability, and cultural transformation.This role offers the opportunity to step into a true ownership across operations and direct impact on site performance. The facility has made strong progress in safety and is now focused on accelerating productivity and embedding disciplined operating systems to support long-term success. This is not a maintenance role — it is a hands-on, turnaround-oriented leadership opportunity with strong visibility and long-term growth potential within a globally recognized organization. Key ResponsibilitiesLead and develop a high-performing operations team within a large-scale manufacturing siteDrive daily operational performance across production, with a focus on throughput, efficiency, and qualityApply and embed TPM principles, including autonomous maintenance, loss elimination, and OEE improvementQuickly assess operational gaps and implement sustainable solutions to improve productivityStrengthen frontline leadership and accountability across the organizationPartner cross-functionally with maintenance, engineering, and technical teams to improve equipment reliability and performanceOperate effectively within a union environment, building trust while maintaining high performance expectationsSupport broader cultural and operational transformation initiatives at the siteAct as a key member of the site leadership team, contributing to overall plant strategy and execution Ideal Candidate Profile5-7+ years of progressive leadership experience within heavy manufacturing or industrial environmentsProven experience leading large teams in complex plant settingsHands-on experience with TPM or equivalent operating systems (e.g., WCM, IWS, production systems)Track record of driving measurable improvements in productivity and operational performanceExperience working in a unionized environment strongly preferredDemonstrated ability to lead in demanding, fast-paced manufacturing environmentsStrong problem-solving capability with a focus on sustainable, data-driven improvementsEffective leader who can balance accountability with team engagement and developmentBachelor’s degree About Pacific International Executive Search:Pacific International, a globally recognized retained executive search firm, is dedicated to empowering Fortune 500, FTSE 100, and high-growth enterprises in building exceptional C-suite, senior-level, and strategic leadership teams while championing diversity and inclusion.
