Full-Stack AI DeveloperLocation: Remote, US-based, core overlap with US business hours, and quarterly on-sitesReports To: Director of TechnologyType: Full-StackExperience: Early-career, AI-native (1–4 years). CS fundamentals required.Compensation: $80,000-$90,000About AnswerMyQAnswerMyQ is the governed AI operating layer for the enterprise. We give every employee, customer, and partner the right answer for their role and drive the right next action automatically. Our platform, the Adaptive Intelligence System™, is built around four constructs: Tags (governance and classification), Roles (access and segmentation), Agents (domain intelligence), and Assets (knowledge sources). Our customers operate in industries where wrong answers are expensive. These include healthcare, insurance, automotive, financial services where accuracy, auditability, and compliance aren’t optional. The RoleWe’re hiring a Full-Stack AI Developer who works the way modern software actually gets built today: AI writes most of the code, and you decide what to build, review every output, and make sure the result holds up. You’ll spend most of your day in tools like Claude Code, Claude Cowork, Cursor, and Google Antigravity. This isn’t a “prompt and pray” role. We want someone with strong product instincts who can turn a fuzzy use case into a clear feature, set the right constraints up front, and catch the things AI gets wrong. You’ll work across our React front end, .NET backend, and Python data platform using AI to accelerate your ramp-up in any area you haven’t touched before. What You’ll DoShip features end-to-end on the AnswerMyQ platform, from framing the use case to opening the PR. Use AI development environments as your primary way of building, with careful human review on every change. Partner with product on what we should build and where the tradeoffs are. Your opinions count here. Contribute across the stack: React on the front end, .NET on the backend, Python on the data platform.Help shape what we build next on our Adaptive Intelligence System™.Build, instrument, and refine the agent frameworks that power AMQ: router agents, domain agents, and utility agents under the governance constructs of Tags, Roles, Agents, and Assets. What We’re Looking ForYou’ve shipped real applications using AI coding tools like Claude Code, Cowork, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or Antigravity. You’re comfortable letting AI generate large amounts of code while you stay accountable for the quality.Strong product sense. You can read a use case, ask the right questions, and propose a sharper version.Computer science fundamentals you can defend — data structures, systems thinking, basic security, how the web actually works. We can teach the stack; we can’t teach the foundation.Comfortable reading and shipping code across React, .NET, and Python using AI to ramp quickly in any area you haven’t touched before.Hands-on experience deploying or operating workloads on a major cloud platform (GCP, AWS, or Azure). You don’t need to be a certified architect, but you should be comfortable shipping to the cloud, not just to localhost.Hands-on experience with retrieval-augmented generation, vector databases, prompt engineering, or LLM evaluation. This is core to what we do.Demonstrated ability to adopt new LLM tools, models, and patterns within days of release. The frontier moves weekly — we want someone who’s already in the habit of trying the new thing, forming an opinion, and integrating what works.Thrives on a team that changes tools and approaches frequently. You see a stack shift as an opportunity, not a tax. You can tell us about a time the team you were on adopted something new and how you helped it land.Visible learning velocity — side projects, GitHub activity, published prompts or agents, demos. We want to see what you build when no one’s asking.Clear communicator who can talk through technical decisions with product, design, and business folks.Able to work US business hours and travel to quarterly on-sites.Nice to HaveBackground in regulated or compliance-heavy environments like healthcare, insurance, financial services, and automotive.Experience contributing to internal AI tooling, agents, or developer platforms.Open-source contributions, technical writing, or a portfolio of demos that show how you think. Why AnswerMyQBuild at the frontier of governed enterprise AI.Small senior team with high ownership — your code will be in front of Fortune 500 customers within weeks, not quarters.AI-native engineering culture. We use the tools we believe in.Remote-first with quarterly in-person team weeks.First 90 DaysWhat success looks like:Day 30: Productive in the codebase. First small PRs merged. Clear understanding of our agent framework, governance constructs, and how a customer deployment is configured.Day 60: Shipping features end to end. Owns at least one meaningful component of an active customer deployment. Has proposed at least one architectural improvement we adopted.Day 90: Trusted to scope and ship features without close supervision. Active voice in product and architecture discussions. Has built or improved at least one piece of internal tooling that makes the team faster. How to ApplyEmail us your resume and a link to something you've built with AI tools. A repo, a demo, or a write-up of how you'd approach a problem is welcome. careers@answermyq.com
