Mechanical Engineer

Support a Fortune 500 Aero-Defense Company as a Mechanical Engineer.Education Requirements: Bachelor of Science degree in a relevant technical discipline (typically mechanical or aerospace engineering) plus 4 years relevant experience or an M.S. degree and 2 years experience. Must have working knowledge of creating moderately complex solid models and mechanical designs using CAD systems, preferably PTC Pro-E or CREO. Ability to solve moderately complex technical design and development problems that require a professional level of engineering knowledge. Strong communication skills (verbal and written). Experience working with internal or external shops to manufacture designs.Skills PreferredFamiliarity with relevant military and commercial design standards. Familiarity with current computer applications and technologies in applicable engineering disciplines. Experience in military product production environment. Experience in developing precision assembly tooling.Experience RequiredMinimum 4 years work experience in relevant work environment.Experience PreferredMinimum of 4 years and not to exceed 15 years of work experience. Working knowledge of GD&T principles {ASME Y14.5-2009 or -2018) Working knowledge of Tolerance Stack Analysis 2+ years experience with Creo modeling and drawing generation Experience with EPDM system preferably Windchill.Education RequiredBachelor of Science in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
