Administrative & Prepress Assistant
About the RoleWe're a small print shop in Atwater Village specializing in stickers and labels. We're looking for a dependable, computer-savvy person to keep our office running and help prep artwork for production. This is a part-time role, Monday through Friday, 5 hours a day — great for someone who likes variety and takes pride in getting things done right.What You'll Be DoingOffice & Administrative: Handle phone calls and customer emails. Process payments, send invoices and quotes, and track open balances. Order supplies and coordinate with vendors. Assist with general business tasks as needed.Prepress & Design: Prep and preflight customer artwork for flexographic printing. Match or select Pantone PMS colors for accurate print output. Check and correct files in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. Communicate with customers about artwork requirements. Occasionally assist customers who need basic design help.Additional: Light social media help as needed (e.g., posting about sales, holidays, or closures; occasional email blasts)What We're Looking ForSolid skills in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, including vector graphicsKnowledge of print best practices (resolution, bleeds, color modes, file formats)Strong with computers — you'll be our go-to for tech and software questionsExperience with office admin: invoicing, email, payments, and vendor communicationOrganized, detail-oriented, and self-sufficientA good communicator who's comfortable in a small, close-knit workplaceBonus PointsExperience with flexographic printing or label/sticker productionFamiliarity with Pantone PMS color matchingBilingual in any language is a plus — we serve a diverse customer baseExperience with invoicing or accounting softwareThe DetailsSchedule: Monday – Friday, 5 hours per dayPay: $18.50 per hourLocation: Atwater Village, Los Angeles, CAPrefer candidates local to the area or within a 30-minute commuteTo ApplySend us your resume and a quick note about your experience.
