Sr. Linux Infrastructure Engineer

🚨 Hiring: Senior Linux / VMware Infrastructure Engineer 🚨📍 Location: Philadelphia, PA OR local to Baltimore, MDWe are looking for a Senior Linux/Unix Infrastructure Engineer to support critical enterprise infrastructure, Linux/VMware operations, security patching, and large-scale NFS storage migration initiatives.🔑 Key Responsibilities:• Manage and support Red Hat Linux (RHEL 6/7/8/9) servers• Administer and support VMware vSphere environments• Plan, coordinate, and execute Linux security patching activities• RTSS Patching experience is highly preferred• Support NFS storage migration activities across approximately 200 application teams• Coordinate with application teams on technical migration options, dependencies, and schedules• Configure and maintain server processes, configurations, and backups• Monitor Linux and VMware platform health, performance, and availability• Support production releases, infrastructure changes, and after-hours deployments• Maintain server inventory and CMDB information• Assist with data center racking and stacking activities• Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement• Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation✅ Required Skills:• 5–7+ years of relevant IT Infrastructure experience• Strong Linux/Unix System Administration experience• Hands-on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) experience• Strong VMware vSphere experience• Enterprise infrastructure/server build experience• Linux security patching experience• Production infrastructure support experience• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills🎯 Ideal Background: Senior Linux/Unix System Administrators, Infrastructure Engineers, or VMware Engineers with experience supporting large-scale enterprise environments.📩 Interested?
