Summary: Pyramid Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant to join our inpatient team in Newport News, VA. This role focuses on providing direct care to adults with Substance Use Disorders, working collaboratively with healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care and support for our clients. Join us in our mission to offer top-tier behavioral healthcare services. Responsibilities: Provide direct care to clients with Substance Use Disorders. Consult with primary healthcare providers to meet the physical healthcare needs of clients. Coordinate with medical staff from state and inpatient facilities to ensure comprehensive care. Participate in team meetings and contribute to treatment planning and evaluation. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client care and progress. Required Qualifications: Active medical license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Virginia. Minimum of one year of experience in a substance use disorder treatment setting. Direct clinical training and work experience in substance use disorder treatment preferred. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
