Registered Nurse (RN) | Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Location: New Orleans, LA Agency: Prime Staffing Pay: $2,057 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/20/2026About the PositionTravelNurseSource is working with Prime Staffing to find a qualified CVICU RN in New Orleans, Louisiana, 70121!About the PositionSpecialty: Registered Nurse – CVICUExperience: Minimum 2 years of recent CVICU or ICU experience requiredLicense: Active State or Compact RN LicenseCertifications: BLS, ACLS required – include expiration datesMust-Have: All time-off requests must be submitted with the initial applicationDescription:Seeking an experienced CVICU RN to care for post-operative cardiovascular patients, including those with heart transplants, CABG, or ventricular assist devices. Candidates must demonstrate strong critical care skills and be comfortable with hemodynamic monitoring, vasoactive drips, and ventilator management.This is a 12-hour shift position with weekend, holiday, and call rotation requirements. Compliance and onboarding typically take 4–6 weeks. Voice and manager interviews are required.
