Leveraging machine learning and AI, the program enhances measurement capabilities and automates decision-making, supporting rapid growth and strong product-market fit.About the Opportunity:The STAFF SOFTWARE ENGINEER, PYTHON is responsible for developing and scaling backend and distributed systems critical to the organization's data product. This role impacts the company by architecting scalable experimentation platforms, enabling near real-time data processing, and integrating AI-driven workflows that improve marketing user experiences. The position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to influence both technical direction and product development.Responsibilities:Architect and scale the incrementality product into a reliable experimentation platform.Develop near-real-time data ingestion and processing systems.Define AI-powered workflow patterns for marketing performance evaluation.Lead work on connection-state systems and partner ecosystem data integrations.Influence technical approaches in adjacent product areas such as role-based access control.Provide design reviews, mentorship, and improve team standards.Requirements:8+ years of experience designing and building distributed backend systems, microservices, APIs, or data processing systems in Python.Proven experience owning system architecture with consideration of scale-related tradeoffs.Track record of partnering with product managers, designers, and data scientists to shape product development.Experience in startup environments or roles requiring breadth, judgment, and problem-solving under ambiguity.Ability to translate ambiguous product needs into technical architecture and production-ready solutions.Proficiency in analyzing complex datasets and tracing dependencies.Working knowledge of React and TypeScript; deep frontend specialization not required.Strong coding fundamentals with effective use of AI as a supplementary tool.Generalist mindset willing to work across backend, frontend, pipelines, and infrastructure.Experience mentoring engineers and enhancing team operations.Pay Range and Compensation Package:Base salary range: $190,000 to $220,000 USD.Actual compensation varies based on experience, skills, and location.Equity package included.Benefits & Perks:Comprehensive healthcare benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance.401(k) retirement plan.Flexible paid time off policy.Twelve company-paid holidays.Twelve weeks of paid parental leave.$500 stipend for remote work setup.Equal Opportunity Statement: Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
