This role will be responsible for building and growing Sprocket Sports’ hockey presence across New England, cultivating relationships with hockey directors, club administrators, and facility operators to drive adoption of our platform. The ideal candidate will have a blend of sales expertise, industry credibility, and deep understanding of the unique challenges youth hockey organizations face when it comes to managing their operations.ResponsibilitiesLead Generation: Identify, target, and engage prospective youth hockey clubs, associations, and facilities across the Midwest.Relationship Management: Leverage existing connections in the hockey world to open doors, build trust, and position Sprocket as a partner of choice.Sales Execution: Drive the full sales cycle from prospecting and lead generation through demos, negotiation, and closing.Market Expansion: Help shape Sprocket’s hockey go-to-market strategy by providing feedback on trends, needs, and opportunities within the hockey ecosystem.Collaboration: Work closely with client success and product teams to ensure seamless onboarding and long-term client satisfaction.Testimonials: Post-sale, work with clients and with Sprocket marketing team to develop testimonials including both written and video case studies.Revenue Growth: Consistently meet or exceed sales targets by delivering new business and expanding Sprocket’s presence in the hockey vertical. QualificationsProven Sales Experience: 5+ years of successful B2B sales, ideally in SaaS, sports technology, or related industries.Hockey Industry Network: Deep connections within the youth/club hockey community (directors, coaches, association leaders, facility managers).Knowledge of Club Operations: Strong understanding of how hockey organizations run (registrations, payments, scheduling, facilities, tournaments, etc.).Communication & Presentation Skills: Ability to lead engaging demos and present value clearly to decision-makers.Self-Starter: Comfortable operating remotely, managing a pipeline independently, and taking ownership of regional growth.Location: Based in the Midwest (preferred markets: Illinois, Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Missouri or surrounding areas).Passion for Sports: Genuine enthusiasm for youth sports and the role technology can play in helping organizations thrive. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting.
