Our client is a well-capitalized, profitable business with a strong national customer footprint, multiple operating sites across the United States, and an active growth agenda backed by ongoing investment in their engineering and commercial organization.This is a senior business development seat focused on driving revenue growth across the Northeast corridor. The successful candidate will own the territory's commercial pipeline and serve as the primary customer-facing leader for one of the most strategic regions in the company's North American footprint.WHAT YOU'LL DOOwn customer relationships and revenue growth across the Northeast territory, including prime defense contractors, system integrators, and direct government customersDrive new business development across the company's RF, microwave, and high-reliability electronics product linesEngage early in customer design cycles to influence technical requirements and position the company's capabilities ahead of formal solicitationsPartner closely with engineering, program management, and operations teams to align customer needs with technical capabilities and delivery commitmentsTravel approximately 50% across customer sites, industry events, and program reviews, with regular on-site presence at the company's Northeast facilityProvide accurate revenue forecasts, pipeline visibility, and competitive intelligence to senior commercial leadershipWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR10+ years of business development or technical sales experience in RF, microwave, or high-reliability electronics serving defense and aerospace marketsDirect experience selling into prime defense contractors and government customers (Raytheon, Lockheed Martin, BAE, Northrop Grumman, L3Harris, or similar)Demonstrated track record of carrying and exceeding bookings or revenue targets with full pipeline ownershipTechnical fluency in RF/microwave product specifications, qualification cycles, and customer engineering requirementsHunter mentality with the ability to develop business independentlyExisting relationships across the Northeast defense and aerospace customer base strongly preferredBachelor's degree required; technical degree (EE, ME, Physics) preferredUS Citizenship required; role involves access to controlled technical information under ITAR/EARBased in or willing to relocate to the Boston metro / Northeast corridorWHY THIS ROLESenior commercial seat with direct customer ownership and meaningful pipeline accountabilityEstablished customer base with active growth opportunities across the NortheastEstablished platform with significant capital behind continued growth and acquisition activityCompetitive compensation, including base, performance-based bonus, and comprehensive benefitsHybrid flexibility for the right candidate balanced against on-site facility presenceHOW TO APPLYThis is a confidential search.
