Pharmacy Tech Location: Clearlake, CA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,333 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/30/2026 About the Position Job Title: Pharmacy Technician Profession: Pharmacy Technician Specialty: Pharmacy Technician Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift, 4 x 10s, as needed Hours per Shift: Not specified Experience: Recent hospital experience preferred License: California Board of Pharmacy Technician Registration Certifications: Certificate of completion from a recognized technician training program required Must-Have: Excellent verbal and written communication skills Description: Performs non-discretionary, technical duties under the direct supervision of a licensed, attending pharmacist. Involves compounding and dispensing medications as prescribed by physicians or other qualified prescribers, in accordance with state and federal laws. The position requires adherence to the organization's commitment to safety and wellbeing. The employee must receive all required vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter. Medical and religious exemptions may apply. Participation in E-Verify is required. Employee must maintain professionalism and self-development. Compounds and admixtures intravenous solutions as specified by the pharmacist in charge. Counts and pours pharmaceuticals in the preparation of prescriptions. Documents quality assurance activities including refrigerator temperatures and other quality assurance activities. Maintains certification and education requirements as outlined by applicable regulatory agencies. Places drug products into specified containers for stock. Prepares and affixes labels accurately. Removes outdated drugs from stock to ensure potency. Ships outdated medications or returns them to appropriate vendors. Willingly performs other duties and innovations as assigned. This position may involve potential exposure to blood and body fluids. The physical demands of this job include frequent bending, squatting, kneeling, climbing, reaching, sitting, and standing. Vision requirements include the ability to focus on close objects. The employee must demonstrate the ability to lift a 25-pound box from the floor. The employee must conform to all confidentiality regulations as required by the job. The department controls, mixes, compounds, and distributes drugs and provides pharmaceutical consultation.
