Role Description This is a full-time on-site position for a Machinist based in the Lafayette, Louisiana Metropolitan Area. The Machinist will be responsible for operating and maintaining machining equipment, creating and interpreting technical drawings, performing precision measurements, and ensuring adherence to quality standards. Additional tasks include troubleshooting and making adjustments to equipment, inspecting finished products for accuracy, and collaborating with team members to meet production deadlines and client specifications. Qualifications Proficiency in operating manual and CNC machining equipmentAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprintsStrong skills in precision measurement and quality controlMechanical aptitude and problem-solving capabilities for troubleshooting machineryExperience with material handling and understanding of various materials used in machining processesStrong attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management abilitiesCapability to work in a team environment and communicate effectivelyPrior experience as a machinist in a manufacturing or industrial setting is a plusHigh school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training in machining or a related field is an advantage
