You’ll collaborate with experienced technical and business teams to build scalable solutions that create measurable business value.Job SummaryWe are seeking a Senior Java Developer with strong experience in Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and SQL to design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications.The ideal candidate will have experience working in Banking, Financial Services, Capital Markets, or related domains, along with strong problem-solving and communication skills. Experience with Python, AI, Tableau, or Snowflake is a plus.Job Roles & ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Java and Spring Boot.Build and enhance RESTful APIs and enterprise services.Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries and database operations.Participate in code reviews, unit testing, debugging, and application deployments.Work with Git, Jenkins, Docker, Maven/Gradle, and CI/CD pipelines.Develop automated tests using JUnit and Mockito.Collaborate with business, technical, and cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.Utilize AI-assisted development tools to improve engineering productivity and workflows.Contribute to application modernization, technical documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.Required QualificationsStrong hands-on experience with Java 8+.Proficiency in Spring Framework and Spring Boot.Strong experience developing REST APIs.Solid knowledge of SQL and RDBMS.Experience with Maven or Gradle.Hands-on experience with JUnit and Mockito.Experience with Git, Jenkins, Docker, and CI/CD.Basic knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Ability to work effectively in an Agile development environment.Preferred QualificationsExperience with Python.Exposure to AI/ML or AI-assisted development.Experience with Tableau.Experience with Snowflake.Knowledge of Fixed Income, Mortgage, Capital Markets, Banking, or Financial Services.Experience developing enterprise applications within financial services environments.Interview ProcessRound 1: Microsoft Teams Video InterviewRound 2: In-Person Technical InterviewAccelyst is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
