This position leads the development of technical and commercial proposals for Broetje's automated manufacturing solutions, pricing estimations, commercial documents, technical proposals, etc.Compensation/BenefitsCompensation: $100,000 - $140,000401(k) company match – 6% match, no vesting period100% paid healthcare premiums (medical, dental, vision), no cost to the employeeDisability plan & group life insurance program3 weeks Paid Time Off (PTO)13 Holidays – 10 company holidays & 3 flex holidaysTuition reimbursement program $10k/yrInternational travel opportunities (Germany)Education & ExperienceBachelor's degree in relevant engineering discipline (i.e., mechanical, manufacturing, or electrical engineering)7+ years working in customer or semi-customer facing role – ideal candidate will have work experience in Aerospace industryRelated experience may include work in one or more of the following areas:Automated systems such as machine tools, robotic cells or assembly fixtures, jigs, toolsManufacturing applications with thermoset or thermoplastic composite materialsFactory assembly or machine manufacturingQualificationsAbility to evaluate complex technical requirements and shape solutions that align with customer business objectivesExperience creating and presenting sales proposalsStrong sales ability, business acumen, and commercial awareness.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple proposals simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentPersonable and outgoing; comfortable speaking in front of groups of peopleExcellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skillsCandidate must be willing to travel up to 30% and have an active US passportJob ResponsibilitiesWork with forward-facing sales personnel at Broetje to understand customer needs and generate proposals in order to achieve North American sales targetsLead end-to-end proposal strategy, including technical scope definition, pricing development, risk assessment, and commercial positioningWork with all relevant departments (engineering, project management, assembly, etc.) to develop solutions to customer needs.Become technically proficient in current and future product offerings (i.e., automated drilling and fastening equipment, composites manufacturing, etc.)Qualify potential customers for genuine need and ability to purchase proposed solutionsWork with customers throughout entirety of sales processLead in development of sales proposalsTravel to customer sites as needed for sales and proposal meetings and to ensure we are providing world class customer serviceResearch and identify potential future markets for existing and new Broetje productsIdentify possible derivative products and solutions to help expand our current offeringsVisit: www.broetje-automation.com and https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC7_4J6KrX5aHnXZJUoOCDRQJ-18808-Ljbffr
